Mmmm.... chicken breast with bone in roasted in the oven after searing with a roasted garlic rub and butter. Pasta with a herb butter/ sour cream mix. And mushrooms with onion cooked for just a few minutes in the butter/ droppings left in the cast iron skillet the chicken was cooked in.

Two movies to watch is the plans for this afternoon. The Call, and Snitch. And a few movies recorded on the DVR.

Spent the morning doing last load of laundry and 'bagging' my next 45 days of meds. Now the kitchen is cleaned up, time for movies till True Blood comes on later.

Last night was over at Cat's. We went to the opening of a local butcher shop and she got chicken and yeast rolls. I got use two large steaks. Talk about good eating for the 5 of us. Fried tatters, green beans. Mmmm... and Cat had made banana pudding for desert. Great way to start the weekend off.

I put at least half this pasta in a bowl for leftovers. I always cook too much pasta it seems. :( But the chicken breast was given to me by Cat as she doesn't like bone in, purchased by mistake. Got two more in the freezer. :) Might do BBQ next time.

 photo DSC_0002_zpsb33f4bea.jpg

It was even better then it looked.

*happy Rat, jumps on the couch to watch movies the rest of the day*

All I am going to say on the matter is- you do the same actions, block, rate 1's, talk rude to members, journal with name calling and drama starting. Even 'hide' behind profiles to stir trouble up.

Tables turn- and you back track so freaking fast you hit your ass on the ground.

Admins, the same ones who had to defend you for years, are not doing their jobs now that you are being treated the same as you treat others?

What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

Your actions on the site has gotten you here- don't know why you think we are going to give a care for either one of you two. TOS is will be enforced, nothing more. Same as it was when we defended you, told folks your actions are allowed. We dealt with the fall out of your actions for years. Sorry you think we ain't doing our duty.

Rooster has come home to roost, for you both.

Got the birds theme going, ain't I. If only I could flip one at a few...

That's how it is with both sides. They all do the same things then condemn the others. It's so stupid.

21:45 Jun 28 2013

Oh yeah, I got the '1 rate' after the tantrum. I was shocked it took this long, specially since all the whining and crying I've seen about rate and blocks by that person before.

And then I see the comment of it's just a website . Are you gawd damned serious? After all the crap I've seen flung around by the parties involved, I can't even believe one of them had the audacity to say that. If it was just a website than one of them would give a flying crap about who said what, and why they said it and so on and so forth.

I am glad I've never been one of those people who follow someone around like some lost puppy because they either gave me a wink or gave me attention. Its sad and pathetic.

Oh wait.. was there attitude in those statements? You're damn right there was. People mistaken me for someone who is constantly nice. Guess the jokes on them, huh?

I have a few choice words for you. I'll send them to your inbox. LOL :)

I am so sick of the double standard bullshit. 'So and so did this to me' Even though I've seen both sides pull the same crap. If you can dish it out, deal with getting it back. If you can't then its simple- either keep your mouth shut or go away.

Its the same people, with the same crap, day in and day out. You would think it'd get pretty damn boring always doing the same thing on here- fighting, picking and causing issues. And then whining about it. Christ.

Oh wait... it is you and her.... wait... nope, still not against the rules no matter how much you whine, think you are special.

Sitting in the waiting room at the Dr. office, I had a older lady next to me start talking to me when I made the mistake of looking at her as she coughed. Thinking it might be best to move a few seats away if she had a cold, instead I got a half hour story of how her sons, 3 in total, had issues at school.

Mind you they are "all grown up now, got kids of there own even" but still I got to hear how one was bullied on the bus and all his lunch money taken for years. How the middle child was so smart, always a perfect son. And the oldest nothing but trouble.

All the while as I keep looking back at my book, holding it up in front of my face at one point as I try to break in with "Huh.. " "Wow.." "That is nice." "Yes- kids these days.." "No clue why that is.."

Still she kept talking the whole 50 minutes I waited... my book seen as nothing it seems.

I have been reading about the Paula Deen news. I call bullshit on a lot of the remarks made toward her. Food Network actions just pisses me off as she made that channel in a lot of ways.

See- While I would love to talk about this with others on the site, due to the comments she 'make' at some point in her life, I know not to bring it to the site.

Just say I think she is getting a bum rap.

Southern woman, 60 plus age. The world has changed more then once in her life time.

And all the good that she has done is gone now because she told the truth under oath.

22:11 Jun 25 2013

I will comment here - she is the age of my parents. They grew up when segregation was still happening. Civil rights movements were just barely on the horizon. When desegregation happened, she would have been about the life stage of raising her own children. She was raised in a different time.

With that said, she probably has made racial statements in the past, I know my parents have.

BUT - they do not NOW. They have grown and changed with the world. Do they sometimes slip up...yes but not nearly as bad as when they were young.

Paula Deen has not said anything out of the way in anything I have seen. The answers given did seem to indicate PAST comments. If she doesn't do them now...I do not think they should be held against her.

We all grow and change and everyone deserves a second chance. AND this IS the land of free speech, unless I missed the memo and that has changed too.

Vampirewitch39
Vampirewitch39
22:26 Jun 25 2013

See- I am with you Birdy. The comment that was made in this case, if I am not wrong, is about a Civil War wedding planning. She said she wanted the waiters for the dinner to be dress like the period style. From what I have read she used the word "Black servers."

Paula worked at a bank in her younger years. A robber came in and rob it, sticking a gun in her face during it. He was a African American. It changed her life, she became a shut in for years after that in fear. So when she was asked if she ever used a "Word" she told the truth, and that she said it in anger.

My parents was born in the late 1920's. And as yours, they both have seen so many changes, and have grown with the times.

00:45 Jun 26 2013

She was under oath and refused to lie and so they are going to burn her at the stake over it. Funny how easy most would have found it to lie but she believed in the truth and told it. Any person of her generation that hasn't used a derogatory name is either a saint or a liar. She has shown no indication of racism until one person saw a chance to file a charge and to get money for nothing. Paula didn't get her day in court she's going to be tried by the popular press, at least until someone else makes enough news to get them to move on to more destruction.

I am southern, amnd I agree with the KY girls. That time was a different time, and she is a little younger than my parents, so I grew up hearing that kind of thing. I never USED that language, because I found it offensive, but it did occur. She apologized, after telling the TRUTH about something obviously painful for her, that should have been enough.

It amazes me that the guy who does resturaunt impossible can lie on his resume, and still be employed, and this happens.

But her sister said fresh was so different, taste changes, it is not sour.

So I tried a little before she grilled it, like it but still ended up with a pucker on my lips.

Ok- some photos of the remodel. I live in a trailer, rent free, that belongs to my sisters. I haven't touched it as far as paint in over 20 years, not really updated much at all. For one reason is I don't want to sink the money into new flooring, and the carpet is not in that bad of a shape as I moved into the trailer only a few years after they purchased it.

So- front bathroom went from dark green lace curtains used for shower curtain dec, shades of green towels. The walls went from flat white that I painted the peach wall color print up those 20 years ago.

Cat gave me the shower curtains, and a few orange towels, cream color walls and white ceiling paint. And just de-cluttered.

 photo DSC_0001jpged_zps0826f13c.jpg

Then the living room. Now this room has one wall of panel that I would not paint. The other walls was a brown specked on tan background like wallboard. The ceiling had 'wood' boards/ trim.

The dark green couch/ loveseat set was given to me by my sister a few years ago. I also purchased the lined brown curtains. So dark... so the updated was needed. New pillows, recliner given to me by Cat. I really love the ceiling now, you just can't think of the difference unless you have been in my home and know what it was like before.

 photo DSC_0004jpged_zps083e829c.jpg

 photo DSC_0010jpged_zps4c010b7b.jpg

 photo DSC_0011jpged_zps065464c3.jpg

Now onto my bedroom. I have a cherry bedroom set. Same brown curtains. I have really started to love blue and brown a few years ago. If it wasn't for the green couch I would have it in my living room. So why not my bedroom? I knew I had to lighten the room up as the same brown/ tan wallboard was in this room. And the olive green bed linens was really making it more a cave. So I went with a fresh paint job to bring as much light in as I could, new bedspread, and two lampshades. I plan to put a orange throw at the end of the bed at some point.

 photo DSC_0021jpgd_zpse641235b.jpg

In the day light this room is so light, so pretty. As is my bathroom. Always wanted a blue bathroom. Got it! Cat helped me pick the color out, and I painted it myself. In fact other then the ceiling in the living room/ kitchen/ and my bedroom I did the painting. :)

I was a little shocked by the blue- thinking I was going to hate it. Of course I painted it in the dark, the next morning sunlight made me fall in love with it. :D

The shower curtain rod is giving me issues- can't get the dang thing to tighten up. But you get the look I am going for. :) Cat's Sis gave me a white light to put in the bathroom, thinking by the sink. It is a small night light white frosted one that I still need to put in there. White towels, some trim, a plug cover I broke taken off.. finish touches is still needed. But it has come a long way from the flat white paint job of 20 years ago. The rose/ pink/ purple color theme is gone.

 photo DSC_0023jpged_zps9db1db41.jpg

 photo DSC_0026jpged_zpsa9c07522.jpg

So a few more things like trim being replaced, a wall repair in my bedroom at the floor, and about 20 small repair jobs I need to do to say it is done.

Then it is the front bedroom which I have a mustard bedspread, oak bedroom set. I am going to paint the walls the ivory color with white ceiling. I want to do a touch of gray in there. But that is in the Fall time.

"So what you going to have for lunch?" bunnie ask, turning her chair to face the Rat, one hand still on the keyboard. She yawns, looking all relaxed and bored.

"Thinking maybe some cheese on toast, might grill it.." Rat stops as bunnie moves in lightening speed, pounding on her keyboard. Rat pulls up the Who's Online page, click on a new profile..and lets out a cuss word.

"Got it! So that is what? Me 400 spam profiles and you... 5?" "Oh we are closer then that you carrot eating fur ball." "Cheese eater." "Big ears" "Stinky" Rat growls, showing teeth as Bunnie opens her mouth in a O, letting out a "OOooooo" as she covers her mouth with her paw.

"Don't make me come in there!" Images yells from her office behind them.

Huffing, Rat turns back to her keyboard, waiting for the next spam profile, getting back to playing the game of "Whack a Spammer" with Bunnie.

Negative. Such a …well.. negative word. I know a young man who is so negative about his life- no money, no nice car, no home, bitch of a girlfriend, no job that he likes. Everyday it is something. And you can’t say anything to him without the negative comments comes toward you. If you asked him what he did that weekend it would be “What with? I don’t have any money.” “The bitch started on me the second I walked into the door..”

If you can’t find any good things in your life, I don’t think any good things will come to your life. I mean- what about a sunrise or sunset? Those are free. How about a nice cold drink of water? Free. Hell- Enjoy the cancer sticks you spend money on even. Just try and find something to enjoy.

You wake up, go to sleep with that kind of energy in your life it will never get any better.

Cat and her sister came over out of the blue to visit, wanting to see the paint job. While I was laying about, just doing some laundry, they really liked the updates. I will take photos at some point, when I get the house cleaned up first.

Friday we had a game changer happen to our family. My older sister who lives out of town, was fired from her job of 20 plus years. It threw us all for a loop, and still dealing with the fallout.

Brings home to me that I really need to save more money. She faces her house payment and it is the family's place to help her out on bills till she gets on her feet again.

Friday I purchased some items for the new look at my home and going to return a few things. While I didn't buy more then I wanted, I didn't need it. So a trip back to Walmart will return towels, baskets, rugs, etc.

I will keep the lampshades and shower curtain as you can't get them local. And as they came from online it would mean paying shipping fees back. But the local things are going back.

But blessed, as always. Family makes you feel that, see what is the important things in life. It is not white towels, it is a sister who needs to know she has someone at her back to help, to hold her up.

My family, and friends, know that.

Run went well. I got the movie late so that meant I just drove to the delivery as I would of only had 4 hours if I drove the 200 miles back home, then back.

So I made a bed after lowering the back seats down... and my hips hate me right now. Hard plastic is not my friend. Back hurts, knees, but it is the hips that hate me most.

I have driven close to 800 miles since Wen morning, yeap...back hurts too.

My battery is about run out as I could only sleep about half a hour at a time before the pain woke me.

So time for a sleeping pill, and bed for me soon. I have so much to catch up on, at work, family, and home. And sis wants some time in the pool too. I need to be up early in the morning to do what I can get done before that time.

Painter just left. :) He is a good guy, one I have known for about 18 years, we was talking about today.

Home is done but for the guest room, which is more a storage room so I have to clean it out before that room is done.

My bedroom looks so much better, as does the living room. Just have to give my bedroom a few hours drying time before I go in and move the furniture back. He helped me move my dresser/ chest. But I had the bed, nightstand, 2 lingerie chest, jew chest, chair, and sofa table moved and covered before he showed up so I told him I would be able to move them back into place.

As well as hang the drapes back, dust, vac, clean the windows, etc. In other words...

I might just wait a hour. ;) Got to much to do to sit.. way too much.

But all in all- the update is done. :D Few last little nick pick things, but I seem to always have those. lol

Painter was here right on time, and 5 hours later my living room ceiling is done, the wooden 'boards' that divided the ceiling is no more. All nice and white, blending in with the off white walls. :D

I cleaned both bathrooms from top to bottom, put everything back in it's place, hand scrub the tubs, toilets, and floors. Cleanest the home has been in ... years? Sure, years.

lol

He is to be back in the morning for my bedroom. I plan to help him roll the wall color, leaving him the cutting in and ceiling in there. But first order of business in the morning is cleaning the kitchen up some. I broke a light bulb, and I need to finish mopping the kitchen floor.

Got a shower curtain, towels, and a few things to buy as I go along but the home is getting it's update.

Now to get a shower, cleaning my tub as I do, then off to get another gallon of ceiling white paint as one wasn't enough it seems. Then to Birdy's to feed her cat as her and Mr. Birdy is out of town. Going to drag Cat *Nightgame* with me to keep me company.

:) She came over to see the bathroom blue and made me bring the light bulb, so it is the least she can do.

hahhaha...

My bathroom is painted. :) Now just to clean the floor, put everything back in place in the morning as the painter starts on the living room/ kitchen area pitched ceiling.

Going to ask him to paint my bedroom too, as I have so much furniture to move and it is way heavy. And I would kick myself if I got paint on my cherry.

But the bathroom is done, the robin egg blue really is a nice shade once it was on all the walls. And the ceiling a nice bright white.

Off this morning to meet with the floor guy. A house we rental dinning room that is carpet, the lady who rents it is fussing about the carpet.

She wants me to have it cleaned like once a month. Tho it is only one stain in the side of the table, that was there when she moved in. And it is not that bad.. rug, rug chick.

But I got fed up with the calls and said "No. I ain't cleaning it again, nor am I replacing it. I am coming in and replacing the kitchen vinyl and the dinning room carpet with new vinyl that looks like hardwood. That is what I am going to do, as I am just throwing money out the door any other way."

She is not happy about the 'mess' that will happen from moving her dinning room set, but pleased with the new flooring.

O.o

Guess I should of told her the front door area, and the bathroom will be done too as I want all the flooring to match. Hey- it is what I would of done if it was empty.

Now I just get the pleasure of being a pain in her ass for once. :)

Friday, had bacon and eggs before work, and going to be in and out all day.

And OH MY GODS but it was so good, tender. Taste is wonderful.

I really am going to save up, try and buy half a cow (meat of half a cow) this fall. Fresh meat is so much better.

One step forward, two steps back. Seems to be life of late. At least at work.

Going to try and finish the painting in the next few days, weekend.

Really can't wait to have it finished but for the two closets to clean out, then the guest room to paint at the end.

I was looking forward to Otter maybe stopping by as I want to sort my dress hat collection and give her some for her photo shoots. But as I don't see me doing that in this heat, might be closer to Fall.

Either way the plan is to really clean out the guest bedroom closet and try and get rid of a cheap pressword *the only piece in my home* out of that room and move the furniture about some, make room to set up the studio lights I have to take photos with. Be nice to just leave them standing, not have to move them so much.

Rare for me to have guest and when I do I take the smaller guest bedroom, so it will not bother me to leave them up.

Life is good. I know I started this journal on a down note, and it does stuck not having work as it really hurts the guys. I am almost use to making it with the second job income as that is all I have had for a few years now.

But it could be a lot worse off.

I will say one thing about the 'bullies' VR is being accused of...

You are the biggest.

You say you hate bullies, can't stand them, they should be thrown off the site.

But yet you bullied a young boy in his own honor log. You admit to it, proud of it. Brag about it along with the insults to his mother. If you want to point to 'bullies' on this site- if this isn't one, what is?

But see- it is a disagreement between members. We have to live with the same rules, put up with the ugly words you throw around. And unlike other members, we can't fight back, use your name and point fingers.

When you even use the word bullies in your rants I just remember the comments you made to a young boy and think just how fucking two faced you are. Full of lies, rage, and anger. You live in a dream world, still to see the police arrest or serve any Admins on this site. This site you swore last night you were bringing a lawsuit, using a 'judge' friend of yours. Guess we will wait and see how that turns out. Like all your lies- it will go no place but under the list of 'maked up' bullshit. You have a long list of that here.

You are in the same boat as Vlad. At least he is funny. You are a joke that some poor innocent folks think is real. And that is sad, seeing as you use them to get the rage stir up, then just float away to another member to use.

If there is any reason for anyone, and I mean ALL your accounts, should be thrown off here- it is that. You are the bullie you so warn others of.

And yes- we know. We have always known.

I wonder when folks complain about members here contacting them outside of the site- how that works?

I mean- I don't let my email out. I don't give my phone number out. You might catch where I live if you read my journal, at least the state. And you might even catch what I do for a living. Only a hand full of folks here even know my real life name. And that is the way I want it, adult enough to know not to share info I don't want used against me. There is no one on this site that I want anything to do with off it.

The few that I do *Morrigon, Imagesinwords, LadyC, RedQueen, FairyMoon, Birra, and a few more* I give that info to. But that is after years of learning about them, reading journals, seeing how they 'act' on the site and toward folks.

You let your private info out- you open yourself to being attacked later with it. Like that you are on meds, that you have kids, that you don't have a job, that you screw this or that person.

But I am sure it is not your fault at all that you are being 'bullied' off this site, when this site gives you every tool needed to block a person if you would only use them and stop egging shit on.

Yeap- sure it isn't your fault at all.

I came home last night, watched some old True Blood on the kindle, and went to sleep about midnight. Woke up around 3:00 am, as normal, to take a trip to the bathroom Then checked online, played a little on this site, and back to sleep.

Woke up at 10:30am, normal for me. But after another trip to the bathroom I climb back into bed. Covered up, closed my eyes, and just counted backward from 100. I think I got to about 80 before I went right back to sleep. Only thing that woke me up was my stomack wanting food.

:)

I usually don't sleep like this unless I am sick. :/

But I feel great, rested.

Think this means a lazy day for me, maybe a campfire later if the weather holds.
